Denver Country Club
The oldest country club west of the Mississippi, the Denver Country Club is steeped in history and tradition.  It was formed in 1887 and moved to its present location along Cherry Creek in 1905.  The Denver Country Club has been a leader in a number of diverse sports – lawn bowling and croquet, figure skating, hockey, golf, tennis, and swim.

Cheesman Park

Denver Country Club Location

The two townhomes on East 5th Avenue are located in the prestigious Country Club neighborhood, which encompasses the area north of the front gates of the Denver Country Club from which the area takes its name. Just north of the Denver Country Club neighborhood is a large public park and open area, called Cheesman Park. Adjacent to the park are the renowned Denver Botanic Gardens. This area is just a few minutes from Downtown (or LoDo) which is easily accessed by the main east/west Speer Boulevard. To access the major highways that connect denver, there is easy access to the main north/south thoroughfare, University Boulevard, which goes south to the I25 interstate, and north to I76. The next road to the north is 6th Avenue, which takes you directly west to the interstates and the mountains. Just to the east of the properties is the high end Cherry Creek North retail area that is anchored by the world renowned Cherry Creek Shopping Center.
